This can be useful to gain knowledge of your chosen field, connect with potential employers and securing a job after graduation.<\/p>\n<p>We have a great <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chi.ac.uk\/student-life\/careers-and-employability\/\">Careers and Employability Team<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>who can support and assist you with your job search.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tWhy should I do work experience or a placement?\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t <ul><li>Placements can hugely increase your career prospects. They can strengthen your CV and help you gain experience in a professional workplace.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\n\t\t\t <ul><li>Some courses offer a <strong>paid placement<\/strong> in the third year of study, this is a great way to earn a salary and apply your university learning.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\n\t\t\t <ul><li>It&#8217;s also a great way to make contacts in your chosen area after you graduate.
