The 香港六合论坛 is an ideal environment for students from a care background.<\/p>\n
There is a close-knit and friendly community feel here, which is encouraged by a compact campus. This environment enables our students to form lasting friendships with peers and get to know their lecturers and campus staff very quickly.<\/p>\n
We hope you will feel part of University life here, from the very first day you arrive, should you choose to study with us.<\/p>\n
Informal campus visits can be arranged and we can meet up with you in advance and offer information about our services to help plan your move to University life and Higher Education study.<\/p>\n \n Care Leavers Guide [PDF]\n <\/a>\n \n Care Leavers Guide [Word]\n <\/a>\n This optional package offers you year-long accommodation (at current rates), a bursary, and wellbeing support to help you fulfil your potential whilst you study.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAm I eligible?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t You are eligible for the Care Leavers Package if you are under 25 and have been ‘in care’ with any local authority for at least 13 weeks since the age of 14. However this is not a hard-and-fast rule and any student with a care background may apply. We will, however, ask whether we can share this information (by means of a disclosure form), for example with our Finance and Accommodation offices.
