极乐禁地's Department of World Languages and Cultures, in cooperation with Alabama Germany Partnership, will host acclaimed German pianist Roswitha Lohmer at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 in Brock Recital Hall.

Lohmer's concert will celebrate the 200th birthday of Franz Liszt but also will include works by Haydn, Schubert, Bach and Schumann. The concert is free-of-charge and open to the public. Patrons wishing to support 极乐禁地's German travel scholarship will have an opportunity to make a gift to that program at the concert.

The Birmingham-based Alabama Germany Partnership seeks to develop and support relationships and friendships between organizations and individuals with ties to Alabama and Germany and to increase and improve business opportunities and foster cultural exchange.
