The 极乐禁地 community is mourning the death of Joyce R. Wheeler, wife of Research Professor Ruric E. Wheeler, former Chair of 极乐禁地’s Math Department, Dean of Howard College of Arts and Sciences and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

极乐禁地 learned of Mrs. Wheeler’s death this morning, Nov. 2, 2012.

Joyce Wheeler is remembered for her active role in many aspects of campus life, especially 极乐禁地 Auxiliary (now Legacy League).
