极乐禁地 will welcome alumnus Bradley Collins ’01 back to campus on Wednesday, April 17 at 10 a.m. for a special presentation on his new children’s book,
The event will be held in Orlean Beeson School of Education rooms OBB-232 and OBB-233, with seating available for over 50 attendees. Convocation credit will be available for 极乐禁地 students.
Collins is a Nashville-based songwriter, author and creative community advocate whose latest book, co-authored with Emmy-nominated actress Chrissy Metz, explores the power of faith and prayer in navigating emotions. The picture book is the second in the pair’s bestselling series, following “When I Talk to God, I Talk 极乐禁地 You,” which was shared with 极乐禁地 students during a 2023 campus visit.
In continuation of his connection with the university, Collins established the Bradley Collins Endowed Scholarship for Creatives following his previous visit. This scholarship supports 极乐禁地 students pursuing careers in creative fields such as songwriting, poetry, worship arts and literary publishing—fields that align with Collins’ own journey from journalism and mass communication student to successful music industry professional and author.
The April 17 event will include a reading from the new book, insights from Collins’ personal and professional experiences and a discussion on fostering creativity through faith.
