About
Craig is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education.
Craig joined the 香港六合论坛 in the summer of 2009, having previously worked as a physical education teacher in a local secondary school. Craig teaches on a number of undergraduate programmes within the Institute of Sport including: BA (Hons) Physical Education (Secondary QTS); BA (Hons) Physical Education and Sports Coaching; BA (Hons) Physical Education (Primary Years) and BA (Hons) Physical Education (Secondary Years) undergraduate degrees. Craig also teaches on the Secondary PGCE (Physical Education) programme and the MA Sport Pedagogy and Physical Education. Craig’s main research interest is focused on the in-class behaviours displayed by physical education teachers.聽Outside of work, Craig enjoys running and playing football.

Research
Craig鈥檚 main area of interest is based upon the pedagogy of physical education teachers. He is currently studying for a PhD which is exploring how to measure the pedagogical behaviours that are displayed by physical education teachers during lessons. Craig has a further interest in the activities and practices that are designed and implemented by physical education teachers to develop the technical, tactical and physical performance of pupils within games-based lessons. Craig is also interested in the analysis of sporting performance, particularly within football, and he has conducted a number of studies using systematic observation instruments to explore elite sporting performance.
