Detta Howe
Associate Lecturer, Feldenkrais
About
Detta Howe is a Feldenkrais practitioner and Associate Lecturer in dance and somatic practices at the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏÂÛ̳, teaching on both BA and MA programmes. Detta’s research interest is in improvisation and awareness in motion. This developed whilst studying for her MA, which raised her curiosity about the dancing body and challenged her pedagogical enquiry. The Feldenkrais practice continues to inform her awareness, efficiency, and choice of moving, enriching her embodied understanding of presence in performance.
