About

Emmanuel obtained his MSci in Advanced Applied Psychology (2021) at the 香港六合论坛 and is currently working to start his PhD. Emmanuel holds the position of Lecturer in Psychology (Student Experience) at the 香港六合论坛. Emmanuel is responsible for conducting seminars for modules including Psy102, Psy205, Psy105 and Psy208. Additionally, he serves as the Communication Officer, overseeing the department鈥檚 research newsletter.

Professional

Emmanuel is a member of the British Psychology Society and has held the status of Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) Since 2023. He was awarded the Tony Gale Prize for his master鈥檚 dissertation titled 鈥淪elf-Esteem and Interpersonal Relationship Predicting Social Media Addiction Through Trait Emotional Intelligence, Loneliness and Escapism鈥 and his work was published in the Wessex Psychologist Bulletin Special Issue 19 Spring 2022.

PhD

Emmanuel鈥檚 PhD will investigate the feasibility and efficacy of a virtual reality cognitive training game designed for individuals living with Mild Cognitive Impairment. The co-design process will involve individuals living with MCI during the development phase. And the objective is fro the virtual reality game to showcase positive outcomes in cognition.
