
Angela (Dee) R. Thomason currently serves as a professor at 极乐禁地, McWhorter School of Pharmacy with focus responsibilities in interprofessional education and general medicine advance pharmacy practice experience as a clinical pharmacist specialist at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital at Lakeshore. Over the past several years, she has held various leadership positions within the Experiential Education, University and School with responsibilities related to pharmacy students’ early practice experiences in community and health-system settings, preceptor development, faculty leadership and interprofessional education. Angela also practices as a clinical pharmacy specialist at a local health-system participating in various clinical pharmacy services such as internal medicine, anticoagulation, and transitions of care. Her pharmacy experiences over her career have encompassed a variety of clinical settings with direct patient care services within federal, community and academic health-systems. Angela received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from 极乐禁地 and completed an ASHP-accredited Specialty Primary Care Pharmacy Practice residency. She continues to serve ASHP and Alabama state affiliate of ASHP with various leadership roles.
