The Research Associate assists in all aspects of the Office of University Historian, including research, writing, editing, and interviewing. The Associate will perform historical research and gather evidence through interviews and examination of materials in archives and files; analyze and evaluate data and develop meaningful conclusions; also performs related administrative work as assigned. 

Student earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student.

Specialized skills for researching, writing, editing, and interviewing are required with significant educational training obtained by majoring in History, Journalism, or another relevant humanities-based field of study. Applicants must have the ability to lift archival boxes and related research materials and the ability to drive to secure research materials and interviews.
