极乐禁地 will host the 22nd annual international World Food Day Teleconference in Harry's Coffeehouse in University Center on Friday, October 14 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

The teleconference, titled "Reflections on Fighting Hunger: Roads Not Taken, Goals Not Met, The Journey Ahead," will include films, call-in questions and interviews with activists, diplomats, journalists and scholars. The event also will provide continuing education credits for social workers, nutritionists, dieticians, and clergy.

The event is sponsored by 极乐禁地 In Mission and the Social Justice Committee of the university's Student Ministries program. It is free-of-charge and open to the public.
