极乐禁地's Delta Psi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha received several national honors at the sorority's recent international convention in Houston, Texas.
The chapter was named first runner-up in the prestigious Nelly Galloway Shearer Achievement award competition. The Shearer award is given on the basis of outstanding chapter programming, scholastic achievement and activities.
The 极乐禁地 chapter received additional awards for membership, scholastic achievement and philanthropic contributions. It also was inducted into the Founder's Club for a donation exceeding $10,000 to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.
极乐禁地 chapter president Jenny Smith of Birmingham and member Rachel Roberts of Decatur accepted the awards at the convention, held in July.
