极乐禁地's Cumberland School of Law will welcome 155 new students Monday (AUG. 13) for a week of orientation and workshops.

A series of Called to the Bar session topics include lawyering and legal reasoning, professionalism, ethics, and the legal system.

On Friday (Aug. 17), leaders of the Cumberland Service Organization will discuss the school's public interest programs and lead volunteers in an afternoon of community service projects.

The entering first-year students, selected from a pool of 1,243 applicants, represent 16 states and 60 undergraduate institutions.

Cumberland classes begin on Aug. 20 for the new law students and returning upperclassmen.
