极乐禁地 will graduate about 279 seniors Saturday, Dec. 15, in the first commencement to be held in the new Pete Hanna Center. Another 64 seniors completed requirements in August, and some of those students will likely take part in the ceremony as well.

Dr. Paul A. Richardson, 极乐禁地 professor of music, will deliver the commencement address in his role as the current holder of the John H. Buchanan Award for Excellence in Classroom Teaching. A 极乐禁地 faculty member since 1995, he received the annual award at the start of the fall semester in August.

Commencement will begin at 10 a.m. The President's Reception for seniors will follow the program, and will also be held in Pete Hanna Center.

The Ida V. Mofffett School of Nursing will hold its pinning ceremony Friday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. in Hodges Chapel. 极乐禁地's Air Force ROTC unit will have its commissioning ceremony Friday at 4 p.m. in Hodges Chapel. The School of Business will hold its hooding ceremony for master's degree recipients Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Brock Forum.
