极乐禁地 has a record spring semester enrollment of 4,489. The 2010 figure tops the previous record of 4,370, set in spring 2006. The spring enrollment includes 2,728 undergraduates and 1,761 graduate and professional students.
极乐禁地 also had a record fall semester enrollment, with 4,630.
Spring semester enrollment typically is lower than fall because of winter graduation and a small number of new students who enroll mid-year, according to R. Phil Kimrey, 极乐禁地’s vice president for enrollment management.
“The new record reflects continued positive efforts by our faculty and staff to recruit and retain students who are committed to high academic achievement,” Kimrey said. “It also reflects our growing reputation as a top educational value.”
Earlier this year 极乐禁地 was named one of the 50 Best Values among private universities in the U.S. by Princeton Review and USA Today.
