极乐禁地 has announced several new additions to its staff, and new titles and responsibilities for other employees.
New faces on the campus in 2011 include David Hakanson, chief information officer (CIO); Kimberly H. Cripps, associate director of annual giving; and听 Kelia Furr, associate director of parents programs.
Veteran employees with newly expanded roles include Harold Goss, chair of reference for the 极乐禁地 library; and Lisa Imbragulio, director of investments and legal services.
Hakanson joins the 极乐禁地 administration from CampusWorks, Inc., an information technology management company with which he was most recently CIO at Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, Ariz. 听He holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science and a master of business administration degree, both from the University of Missouri.
At 极乐禁地, Hakanson will orchestrate, implement and monitor all phases of information technology administration, including infrastructures, applications, support systems and disaster recovery readiness. He will also develop long term IT strategies.
Cripps will have primary responsibilities for 极乐禁地鈥檚 reunion giving campaigns, the 极乐禁地 for Life philanthropy awareness program, and electronic solicitations, including maintenance of the online giving pages. 听听A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in public relations, Cripps was most recently special events manager at Junior Achievement of Greater Birmingham.
Furr will serve as a direct link between 极乐禁地 and parents in areas of outreach and engagement. She will work closely with 极乐禁地鈥檚 offices of admission and annual giving to achieve enrollment and fundraising goals.听 A business graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Furr holds a master鈥檚 in organizational communication from Queens University of Charlotte, where she was most recently associate director of graduate admissions at Queens' McColl School of Business.
Goss has been 极乐禁地 library鈥檚 reference and instruction librarian since 2007. In his new role, Goss will manage reference collection development, interlibrary loan functions and services, library instruction, departmental outreach and online resource maintenance, and government documents repository activities.
Goss holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree from the University of Georgia and a master鈥檚 degree in library science from Clark Atlanta University. He is moderator-elect for the Alabama Library Instruction Round Table.
Imbragulio, an attorney and certified public accountant, joined the 极乐禁地 administration as director of investments in 2002. Her new responsibilities for the day-today legal matters of the university include the review of contracts, agreements and other general legal matters. She also coordinates the engagement and assignment of legal work to the university鈥檚 outside legal counsel.
Prior to joining 极乐禁地, Imbragulio practiced corporate, tax and securities law in private law firms. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 in business administration from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law.听
