极乐禁地 professor Patricia Hart Terry was named a 2011 Outstanding Dietetics Educator by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) at the ADA regional practice group meeting March 4 in San Antonio, Texas.

听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听 Dr. Terry, who teaches dietetics and nutrition in 极乐禁地鈥檚 Exercise Science and Sports Medicine Department, was one of seven nationally recognized Didactic Program in Dietetics Directors to receive the award. In a letter from ADA President Judith Rodriguez, Terry was noted as one who 鈥渆xemplifies the values of the Association and plays a vital role in leading the future of dietetics in serving as a role model to dietetics students.鈥

听听听听听听听听听听听 The award recognizes the teaching, mentoring and leadership activities of faculty and preceptors in dietetics education programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Terry has been a member of the 极乐禁地 faculty since 1990.
