Hundreds of middle school and high school music students from throughout the region will participate in the sixth annual 极乐禁地 Honor Band program Jan. 5-7.

More than 500 students from Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida were selected to attend the intensive three-day program of auditions, rehearsals, masterclasses and performances. This year's program will feature two Middle School Honor Bands and two High School Honor Bands, each consisting of consist of the top musicians in their represented schools.

The Honor Band program will conclude with a concert in 极乐禁地's Wright Center Concert Hall at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Jan. 7.

The concert is free of charge and open to the public.
