极乐禁地’s Karisa Nelson has been named the Southern Conference Female Athlete of the Year. The announcement was made May 30 during the conference’s annual meeting.
Nelson is a junior biochemistry major from Brewton, Alabama.
She won the NCAA indoor track and field championship in the mile earlier this year and has qualified for the NCAA outdoor championship in the 1,500-meter race.
