HCA Leadership Legacy

极乐禁地’s Department of Healthcare Administration has announced the full schedule of speakers for its Health Care Leadership Legacy Workshop and Luncheon this Friday, Oct. 6. 

Along with the event’s keynote speaker, Neeysa Biddle, the former senior vice president of Ascension Healthcare, four additional speakers will provide a panel discussion on the topic “Leading Health Care Organizations through Uncertainty.” 

Cynthia Barginere is the senior vice president and chief operating officer of Rush University Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in administration from 极乐禁地’s Ida Moffett School of Nursing in 2012. 

Danne Howard is the executive vice president and chief policy officer for the Alabama Hospital Association. 

Carol J. Ratcliffe is an associate professor and director of Ida Moffett School of Nursing’s Department of Administration, Health Systems, Management and Leadership. Ratcliffe earned her Doctor of Nursing Practicing in administration from 极乐禁地’s Ida Moffett School of Nursing in 2009. 

Tom McDougal is an assistant professor for the School of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Administration, as well as the chief executive officer of AlternaVisit LLC. 

The Health Care Leadership Legacy Workshop and Luncheon will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in 极乐禁地’s Howard Room. The event is free to attend, and a continental breakfast and lunch will be served. 

 

Continuing education credits are available for nurses. Two convocation credits will be available for 极乐禁地 undergraduate students.
