Wash Your Hands Frequently
An easy way to prevent the spread of germs is to wash your hands with soap and warm water as often as possible. For when you don’t have access to soap or water, keep some alcohol-based hand sanitizer in your pocket, backpack or desk.
Clean and Disinfect Surfaces or Objects
Cleaning and disinfecting common surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs can help slow the spread of the flu. Be sure your disinfectant is design to kill the flu virus.
Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose or Mouth
Germs are often spread when a person touches a surface or object that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose or mouth.
Eat a Healthy Diet and Drink Lots of Water
While there is no vitamin or mineral that can prevent you from getting sick, a healthy diet full of fruits, vegetables and plenty of water will help give your body a fighting chance. .
