极乐禁地 alumni Mei Lin Dye '23, Andrew Mintz '23 and Timmy Cleveland '23, and current student Noah Letcher attended the prestigious in Washington, D.C., July 1-3.

The group from 极乐禁地 was a part of only 300 students who were selected from applicants across the nation.

At the end of the weekend, participants completed 29 hours of training that covered a variety of topics. These topics and discussions included ethics in the public policy process, political technology and leadership principles which will serve them in their future careers. Dye said, “I feel like I walked away with valuable knowledge and a better understanding of how the political world works. It was definitely an added bonus to be with other 极乐禁地 students.”

The Leadership Institute was founded by Morton Blackwell and has been training young conservative leaders since 1979.
