Jon Acuff’s Message to ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Graduates
Dear Gen Z: Here’s the commencement speech no one has the guts to give. I’ve never been invited to speak at a graduation ceremony. I’ve attended a few, though, and most of the speeches tend to sound the same. Polished. Predictable. Forgettable. But if I ever did get the chance, I wouldn’t give a commencement speech. From Parents, For Parents: A Message From Julia Swallow
How do I describe the beauty of Ecuador? Who knew there were so many shades of green, so many flowers? How can I paint for you a picture of the volcanoes, mountains, rivers and waterfalls? How do I share with you the sounds of the birds as they began singing each morning and the smell of the rain in the cloud forest? How do I make you understand the loveliness and comfort of The Meeting Place, our home away from home?

From Parents, For Parents: Hosting a ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Send-Off
Our oldest son, Ethan, is now a junior at ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ, and our oldest daughter, Lauren, is a sophomore. We have loved ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ since our first campus visit. We are grateful for the strong academic environment and equal emphasis on a biblical worldview to continue shaping college students as they prepare to launch into the world with the Gospel. Our kids have had a great experience, found great churches and made sweet, godly friends, even though they chose the non-Greek route.
