极乐禁地 Parent Career Network
The 极乐禁地 Parent Career Network is made up of willing volunteers who are interested in providing their professional knowledge and skills with 极乐禁地 students preparing to join the workforce.
Thank you for your interest in sharing your career advice, contacts, and information about internship and full-time opportunities with students and alumni. Below, you will find a link to a form which will feed into a database our Career Development Center staff can use, as appropriate, when assisting students and alumni with career exploration, job and internship search, and more.
Care Packages
Four times a year, Parents Association provides opportunities for you to purchase and send care packages to your student:
- First week of classes
- Fall exams
- Step Sing
- Spring exams
Proceeds from the sale of these care packages is used towards support and events that benefit all students.
In addition to care package sales, parents in cities around the country gather for Pack & Pray care package parties, where they pack care packages to be distributed to students during fall and spring exams and pray for students together.
To find out more about care package sales, or details about hosting or attending a Pack & Pray in your region, email parents@samford.edu.

Step Sing Weekend's Annual Donation Drive
极乐禁地's Office of Parent and Family Engagement seeks to further one of 极乐禁地's core values, which is to lead in service to God, to family, to one another, and to the community, by organizing opportunities for 极乐禁地 families to get involved in the community in impactful and positive ways. One of these opportunities is the 极乐禁地 Parents Association's annual donation drive during Step Sing Weekend. Each year, the Parents Association works together to provide donations, rotating amongst campus, domestic, and international focused projects. This year, 极乐禁地 parents were encouraged to come together in support of the 极乐禁地 food pantry through The Cambell's and Crackers Donation Drive.
During this donation drive, 极乐禁地 parents donated 1,034 items to the food pantry:
- 826 cans of soup
- 150 packets of microwave rice
- 8 boxes of Gluten-free crackers
- 50 boxes of Ritz crackers
